The company is UNI EN ISO 9000 certified, has achieved the italian quality mark CSQ and international brand for the IQ-NET design, development, supply, installation and software maintenance.

Founded in 1985 by Fabrizio Bernini, began as a software producer which has been able to capitalize their skills in order to succeed in robot and automation markets. Zucchetti Centro Sistemi SpA, founded in 1985, by Fabrizio Bernini, began as a software company and began almost immediately to differentiate its business by developing programs dedicated to the Menarini blood centers.
In 2000, ZCS joined the group Zucchetti maintaining its autonomy over its own management software.
In the same year ZCS entered the robotic world with the lawnmower robot.

In 2002, ZCS created a new division called "Robotic Division" with the creation of Orazio (vacuum cleaner robot) and the prototype of a four-wheel mobile platform which turns 360 °.
In 2005 ZCS officially established the Research and Devolpment Department, initially relying on external partners and afterwards hiring trained staff that developed projects in all areas including software, electronics and mechanics.

In 2008 was created the first robot lawnmowers with patenteed ZCS grass-sensors, able to recognize the lawn. The user could use the robot right away and it required no installation.This technology allowed ZCS to win the first international prize during the GAFA 2008 ( Keulen-Germany) for the highest technogicial robot amoung all exhibitiors.

In 2010 ZCS got assigned by the Italian Prime Minister one of the most important Prizes, which stands for 360° Innvation within their products and services. This prize was organized by Confindustria in collaboration with the 'Italian Quality Association".

In 2011 ZCS made ​​the first robot for large areas with advanced electric technology, which is especially appreciated for saving time.
